More on Phelps screwing up his reputation

As I’ve stated, I don’t think this will have a significant impact on his endorsement potential. Will cool him off for a time while he’s in “time out”, but he’ll be hot as ever by the time London 2012 rolls around.

Phelps might have made alienated a few people with that pot-smoking picture, but i think he might have gained the support of another huge group of people to take their place

Great point, Coffee. Expect Phelps to pick up a sponsorship from Cheetos and White Castle any day now.
And imagine how many medals he could win if he didn’t smoke weed? Look at Usain Bolt.
